Daniel Walter Hill

Daniel Walter Hill, a travel and photography enthusiast

Daniel Walter Hill has been holding a camera for as long as he can remember. His grandpa handed him his first camera, a basic point-and-shoot model. His family was overjoyed and willing to pose for him, striking candid poses, posing for birthday photographs, and striking every imaginable posture possible! NAME's interest in photography was spurred by his family's support.

Visits to East Coast National Parks

Summers in the Hill household meant planning trips to East Coast national parks. Dan will be eternally grateful for these visits since they not only brought the family closer together, but also ingrained in him a love of wildlife photography. Mr. Hill recalls these family vacations fondly, from Acadia to Biscayne.

Photographing the Atlantic coast from Acadia National Park to the mangroves of Biscayne National Park and the wetlands of Everglades National Park is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Daniel Walter Hill.

At the moment, the West Coast

In line with tradition, Daniel Walter Hill has taken it upon himself to offer his children the same experiences he had growing up. He wants his children to share his love of nature, thus trips to national parks have become a family tradition in his own family. This time, though, their travels would take them to West Coast national parks.

His family has already visited Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks, as well as Redwood and Grand Canyon National Parks.

This summer, they're going to the Florida panhandle.

On his blog, Daniel describes his childhood travels to national parks as well as holidays he's taken with his own family. You are invited to visit the page and learn about his photographic adventures in these parks.
